Hasiru Mysuru LLP is the result of the shared vision of a group of friends with deep roots in agriculture and years of family farming traditions. We have grown up valuing sustainability and resilience and have witnessed firsthand the increasing threat of plastic pollution to our ecosystems. The need for alternatives became clear from the impact of plastic mulch films on soil health in agriculture to the ingestion of plastics by animals and the widespread presence of microplastics in our food chain.
Our journey started with the realization that traditional plastics needed a sustainable substitute. After research, we found biodegradable products made from corn starch, tapioca starch, maize, vegetable stocks, and advanced materials like poly-iso-sorbide. These biodegradable products have the potential to revolutionize industries, starting with agricultural mulch films and extending to essential items in the medical sector such as aprons, head caps, gloves, and bed covers.
